A place with a
Story
Our holiday home takes its name from the historic hamlet of Luyghem, located near the Drie Grachten on the Ieperlee. During the First World War, this place formed a remarkable peninsula: while the IJzer plain was flooded, Luyghem on its raised embankment was miraculously spared. Even the nearby Beukelare Mill bravely stood as the only one in the region.
With the complete renovation of this property, we have restored that historic tranquillity. Today, Ter Luyghem is a place where the past of the Westhoek and the modern comfort of today come together.

Ground floor
The ground floor is the beating heart of the house, designed for conviviality and comfort.
- Living room: Relax in the spacious lounge with smart TV. With the sound system (Bluetooth/USB/AUX), you set the mood yourself.
- De Chef’s Keuken: A professionally equipped kitchen with large oven, dishwasher, microwave and two coffee machines. Cold storage and freezer available for all your supplies.
- Entertainment: While the adults dine, the younger ones retreat to the separate TV room. The games room also has a pool table, foosball and darts ready for a friendly competition.
- Comfortable sleeping: Also downstairs there are 3 atmospheric bedrooms, each with two comfortable box springs and a private bathroom.

Upstairs everything revolves around privacy and a good night's sleep. Here you will find another 5 bedrooms, each also with a private bathroom:
- Room 4 & 6: 2 boxsprings.
- Room 5: 3 boxsprings.
- Room 7: Cosy bunk bed.
- Room 8: Spacious family room with 3 box springs and a bunk bed.

Enjoy the wide-open peace of the Westhoek in our extensive garden.
- Terrace & Garden: A large terrace with two barbecues and an endless lawn where children (and dogs) can run freely.
- Effortless parking: Spacious private parking for 8 cars with CCTV.
